apply for the Ordinance was advertised twice in the Gazette on the 29th. September, 1911, and 6th. October, 1911, and twice in two newspapers circulating in the Colony viz.:- in an English newspaper *The China Mail" on the 23rd. September, 1911, and the 25th. September, 1911, and in a Chinese Newspaper "The Wa Tsz Yat Po" on the 25th. September, 1911, and the 6th. October, 1911. The pro- -posed Ordinance was further published in the Gazette on the 29th. September, 1911, and the 6th. October, 1911.
